MEET CARRI & TEDDY
One of the things I have enjoyed most about Hubs & Hers is writing this Local Lovers blog. It has given my partner and I the opportunity to meet some remarkable duos and the platform to share their love stories.
Carri and Teddy are one of those couples.
I thought I had died and gone to heaven when Carri reached out to us. Her beauty was obvious, but she really hit home when she began to reminisce about details of meeting Teddy at work. Nostalgia struck me, as fond memories of crushing on my then-boss, now-husband danced around in my head.
HOW HE ASKED HER TO MOVE IN. Like most of us, these two were unable to avoid frequent slumber parties prior to the official move-in. However, Teddy knew that asking Carri to share a home together was something that needed to be extraordinary. Maybe I'm biased, but I'd say he nailed it.
Teddy secretly purchased a set of our his & hers matching shirts. He paired this small token of his affection with a card, written from the heart and ending on this note:
"...I want theses two items of clothing to be hung up first in our closet, once you say YES to moving in with me".
Teddy isn't the only one in this relationship with creative ways of showing his love. The ray bans you see in the photos above were a special gift from Carri. These custom glasses have an intimate message engraved on the inside, for Teddy's eyes only, however the temples are comprised completely of photos of the two of them.
NOW WHAT. Since Carri has moved in, the household has grown from one to seven. It all started innocently, of course, with a bowl of cat food by the door here and there. Escalating swiftly from stray visitor to home intruder, Powder quickly become the newest (uninvited) roommate. Shortly after she moved in, Teddy and Carri noticed her belly looking a little larger. They took her to the vet to make sure everything was okay, but left the office without any substantial answers. It only took a few days to discover that Powder was pregnant and had been plotting the purrrfect location for the delivery of the newest roommates: their microfiber sectional sofa.
As if we couldn't love this couple any more, Teddy and Carri are now proud parents of five, including Powder, MJ, Willis, Compote and Runt.
We look forward to keeping in touch with these two and cannot wait to see what the future has in store for them.
P.S. Mr Farina and I are currently watching The Office, for his second and my third time, so you can imagine the workplace romance feels are real around the Farina household right now. Jim and Pam, if you're reading this, we're on our way to Scranton.
If you don't know what the hell I am referencing, you must forfeit the next 4 days, 3 hours and 30 minutes of your life and binge watch this show with your significant other. (Hint: you can find it on Netflix).
We'd LOVE to hear about your undeniable office romances! Share in the comments below or email us your story to be featured on our next Local Lovers blog.

This reminds me so much of my old work romance with my now, amazing boyfriend. I was a barista at the Target Starbucks and he was a cashier. I remember I could not keep my eyes off of him. Innocent flirting and random fraps lead to what we now have as three official years under our belt. With college about to come to an end for me and it about to start again for him, we have so much to do and look forward to <3
