MEET MIKEY & CAMI

Bartending in Delray Beach, Mr Farina has the pleasure of meeting locals who love Hubs & Hers. Every Friday evening at approximately 3 am, my husband returns home from work, nestles into bed next to me and I battle with my eyelids as he tells me tales from the night of. On rare occasion, I hear of couples who have left a lasting impression.

Mikey and Cami were one of those couples.

HOW THEY MET. Cami beams at me from the back seat of the Hubs & Hers mobile as I beg her for details of the very first day she laid eyes on her now husband. All I see are teeth and it's contagious. I can't help but smile back at her, but her eyes are already locked on Mikey. 

The day started as 'one of those days', in the worst kind of ways. A friend insisted that Cami come out for a drink and get out of her funk and after hours of pleading, she reluctantly succumbed to the invite. Little did she know, as soon as she walked up to the bar, she would see HIM. (WARNING: We may never know who actually saw who first. Both Cami and Mikey insist that they were the first to lay eyes on the other. Either way, we'd call it love at first sight.)  

He had her at hello. From their initial introduction, they were attached at the hip (or rather the hand). Cami boasts to me and the Mr about how she held Mikey's hand that very first day. The two ended up staying out later than any of their friends could bear, unwilling to let the evening come to an end. Mikey proudly chimes in that despite the fact that his phone had died, Cami wasn't going to let him get away that easily. With their magical evening coming to an end, she diligently gathered all of the information necessary to stalk him. She knew from the moment she met him that she was going to marry this man. 

MARRIED LIFE. These lovers have been inseparable since day one, however they opted for a more traditional route and waited until after they were legally wed to move in together. 

 Now here they are, celebrating seven fun-filled months as husband & wife/roomies. The thought of these two growing old together makes my heart feel full. Despite the short about of time we have spent with Mikey & Cami, it is clear that their love is uniquely sincere. The adoration they have for one another is transparent and there is true comfort in their companionship. They are vocal about their feelings and couldn't hide their infatuation with one another if they tried their hardest. It was a real pleasure watching these two from behind the lens and we wish them nothing but continued happiness together.
